5 Steps to Moving In
Step 1: Visit Josephine Crossing
To check out what Josephine Crossing is all about, visit with the Fun Team (that’s a little nickname we gave ourselves). Greg, Kat and Jared are as much fun as you can have during the work-day. Set up an appointment to tour the Model Home, and get the scoop on Billings’ most unique neighborhood. We’ll ask you a few questions so we don’t waste your time droning on about things you don’t care about. Then we put it all out there, and you decide. There’s no pressure, no obligation, no brow beating or prisoner taking (unless it’s the end of the month and we still haven’t sold anything- that’s only happened once, so statistically speaking you should be fine).
Step 2: Pick a Plan- Pick A Lot
At this point, you and your Fun Team specialist have narrowed down our varied selection of plans to something that suits you, your family and your lifestyle. This is where we roll up our sleeves and start taking the vision of what you want your home to be and converting it into a plan. Are we moving a wall here? Adding a bathroom there? Do we need just a bit more space in that garage? We have, quite literally, never built the same house twice. The most exciting thing about our floor plans is that they are just a starting point for you and your imagination. You take it from there. We’re also going to talk about where you want to be in the neighborhood (by a park, or on a quiet street) and how you’d like your home positioned. Are you a morning sun gal or a setting sun guy? How exciting is this anyway? But wait….there’s more….
Step 3: Design Away
This is where the fun really begins. A 1% reservation deposit secures the lot of your choosing, places your home on the construction schedule, and starts the design studio process. If you’ve built before, you know what a hassle it is running all over town finding flooring, lighting, countertops, etc. With McCall Homes, you design your home with our interior decorator and interior designer in our design studio. . . . . . .aaahhhh. Step 4: Construction
Construction is one of those things that is WAY more fun to watch than participate in (have you ever seen a guy pulverize his thumb with a waffle hammer?) Go ahead, point and laugh. We’re taking one for the team so you can have your dream home.
Faster than you can say, “I love my new home!” your foundation is dug, and you are just a short time away from hanging pictures on the wall and arranging furniture in your new living room. You get to literally watch your vision unfold before your very eyes!
Step 5: Move In!
There’s no way to church up the moving-in process. It stinks. About all we can do for you here is offer up a moving van, and give you a great deal on a storage unit.
